Weight loss injections from a pharmacy in Bradford: what to expect

Rockwell Pharmacy, updated 16 October 2026

Weight loss medication can help some adults lose weight alongside changes to diet and activity. At your consultation our pharmacist checks whether it's suitable and safe for you.

Who it may be suitable for

Weight loss injections are licensed for adults with a BMI of 30 or more, or 27 or more with a weight-related health condition such as type 2 diabetes or high blood pressure. They aren't suitable for everyone, for example during pregnancy or with certain medical conditions. The pharmacist goes through this with you.

At your consultation

We measure your weight and height, ask about your health and medicines, and talk through your goals. If medication is suitable, we explain how to use it, possible side effects, costs and how often we'll check in with you.

Ongoing support

Medication works best with support. We arrange regular reviews to check your progress and side effects, and adjust your plan when needed.

Questions

Is the consultation free?

Ask us when you book. If medication is suitable, the pharmacist explains the costs before anything is supplied.
